I sighed, scuffing my boots across the ground. I was so bored, the problem with sanctuaries was there was nothing ever happening. I considered popping out for a breath of fresh air, but no one really trusted me yet so it was too risky.

I shuffled down the sidewalk, "Seph's gone, Jack's with his dad, Ellen's with Jack, and Jason is who-knows-where." I counted my friends off on my fingers. Nope, no one to see. I stopped suddenly causing the person walking behind me to stop as well before huffing and continuing on his way. Standing in front of me looking bored to death was Alicia Middleton.

I heard murmuring behind me and turned to look at it's source. I was shocked to see Madison Moss. I thought Seph would have her locked away somewhere with nothing to hurt her. Overprotective boyfriends. Thinking of boyfriends reminded me of Jason and a wave of pain shot through me. I saw spots before my eyes and began to sway as my breathing grew heavy.
